More reputable links to donate to those affected by the wildfires in Hawai'i.
Didn't want to hijack another post, but if you're like me and wanted to help but weren't sure which places have been properly vetted, here's some shared by the Obama Foundation. I found that cross-referencing sites found here that have also been shared by locals is a good way to ensure they're trustworthy organizations!
Copied from the site above (though I'd strongly recommend checking the site too):

*I removed the Red Cross because I did not find them being pushed by any locals as the best place to donate.
And because I know it sometimes helps to know where others have donated to know that it's safe, I personally donated to both The Maui Strong Fund from Hawaiʻi Community Foundation and Maui Humane Society. The processes for both were very easy, the Humane Society accepts Paypal in addition to credit card, and they both sent me clear email receipts.
I can’t speak for Maui Humane society personally, but a good friend of mine’s parents volunteered with them frequently. She says that they are a good resource and full of kind, helpful folks.
So that’s where I’m sending what I can.
Every little bit helps. My heart goes out to those on Maui and Lahaina.
